Job Description:
Video content is a core part of MediaScher's marketing strategy.
Our videos both entertain customers and inform them about our wide product range.
All of this is possible thanks to our behind-the-scenes video staff.
We're looking for a skilled video editor to work in both short and long formats, taking footage shot by production teams and editing it based on project specs.
After showing a rough draft to stakeholders, they'll be responsible for implementing project notes.
The finished product will represent the best of the company and the video editor's skill.
This position entails a split in responsibilities, with a focus on creating video content for various businesses our company provides services for.
This position is complemented by editing tasks remotely with future transition to hybrid at local office location.
This is an exempt position with flexibility to work nights and weekends to cover events and venues.
Key Responsibilities in Videography/Video Editing:
Set a high bar for video marketing deliverables Ensure consistency in daily content Enhance social media and overall marketing strategies Identify and implement improvements in the video editing process Produce content for diverse audiences and platforms for Media Scher and it's clientele Keep up to date with the latest video marketing trends Edit short- and long-form videos for MediaScher's website and social media accounts Take charge of video ideation and creation Ensure videos meet the marketing team's specifications and guidelines Implement creative notes from stakeholders Offer customers peerless digital experiences Evaluate projects for brand authenticity Recurring schedules for Instagram Reels, Facebook videos, TikTok, YouTube videos, and training videos Skills &
Qualifications:
Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effect, DaVinci Resolve, and/or Final Cut Pro Capacity to communicate effectively Attention to detail Ability to pick out attention-grabbing shots Excellent storytelling skills 3
years of relative experience Strong project management skills Ability to work with multi-track split audio Knowledge of aspect ratios Experience with high-resolution file transfer applications Understanding of video encoding formats Talent for sound design Deliverables to be Maintained:
Weekly production of short videos for Instagram and Facebook postings, covering a range of styles and topics as directed Development and execution of annual strategies for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram Reels Support in web development and coordination, including updates, event calendars, and asset inclusion in email development Oversight of deadlines, goals, and website development strategy in collaboration with third-party vendors.
Regular communication with the department head to ensure deadlines for various projects are met.
Submission of a weekly opportunity report highlighting 2-3 innovative marketing opportunities.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
