Review projects to bid Attend bid walk throughs Estimate electrical bids for public and private projects utilizing computer based estimation software to create a bid that meets the plans and specifications for the project Understand general conditions, scope of work, time frame of project, and specifications Manage the negotiating and purchasing of major electrical components per architect/electrical engineer design specifications and bid requirements Coordinate with project manager for job costing after award Provide value engineering Must possess excellent communication skills.
Be able to build relationships with architect/engineers and vendors Foster outstanding customer service and positive client relationships.
Apply effective problem solving skills, which are appropriately creative and innovative.
Consistently meet deadlines and project commitments.
Requirements:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing a full spectrum of electrical construction projects in the commercial, institutional and industrial sector.
